Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 1 Volume 1 DVD Review

It's Sunday morning, the kids have been up for awhile now. Gracie is off to church, Robby is off doing some side work to make a little extra money and Matthew and I are sitting here at home....

Watching Power Rangers. :D

"Go, go Power Rangers...
 Go, go Power Rangers...
Go, go Power Rangers...Mighty Morphin Power Rangerrrrrrs!!"

Ahhh, the memories this brings back.

When I saw that they had Season 1  for review, I literally emailed them back within minutes. When I was younger, I used to hang out with/babysit my nephew and he LOVED the power Rangers. So we watched them quite a bit. They've come out with many different versions of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers since the original first aired in 1993 on Fox Kids. You now have Samurais, and Jungle Rangers...but it will never be the same as the original Rangers...Billy, Kimberly, Jason, Zach, Trini, and Tommy. I have to admit they kid of annoyed me back then...the only reason I ever watched it was for the blossoming love story between Kimberly & Tommy. Tommy was a hottie with his long hair and dark good looks. Hey, when you're in high school and have to watch it...you take what you can get. ;)

I really get a kick out of watching Matthew watch the show. He loves the fighting and he wants to pretend to be them. He runs around the house jumping and screaming "hiiiiiiii-ya!" and fighting the bad guys.

He also likes dressing up as them. When he went as the Red Ranger for Halloween he had no idea who they were...just that he liked the costume. :)
The dvd I received was Season 1 Volume 1 which contained the first 30 episodes. 30 EPISODES! We are in Mighty Morphin Power Ranger heaven!

Here is the press release....
