When I was little I always had lots of music boxes. You know the kind where it had a small plastic mirror and a ballerina that twirled around. I loved those. And then I got older and my Granny gave me a wooden jewelry box that didn't have any of that and was meant to be a more grown up keepsake.

I was given a link to look at for music boxes and immediately fell in love with the baby and children's music/jewelry boxes.They have others for all sorts of occasions but these really stood out. Must be the kid in me that liked them.

What I liked the most is they have boxes for both girls and boys. I think it's very rare to find them for boys now. And it wouldn't have to be called a jewelry box, but instead a treasure box.

 

The designs all have a vintage feel to them and I just love them. :) They are made out of elm Burl wood and can be customized into a music box with the general 18-note tune list.

I think my favorites would have to be these...

So if you're looking for something special for the little ones in your life I would most definitely think about getting them one of these boxes.
