Melody Carlson has written more than 200 books for teens, women, and children. Before publishing, Melody traveled around the world, volunteered in teen ministry, taught preschool, raised two sons, and worked briefly in interior design and later in international adoption. “I think real-life experiences inspire the best fiction,” she says. Her wide variety of books seem to prove this theory.

AND NOW...THE FIRST CHAPTER:
My thoughts:
This is a great book! I loved the sisterly interaction in this book. I have a sister and I think they did a good job portraying it. :) It's about 2 sisters who work in the fashion industry in different capacities and then have lots of differences in opinions. Each are trying to become their own person. As they meet new people they begin to see sides to every story. Melody Carlson also brought some girls from a previous series 'Carter House Girls' into this one....so it's a great continuation. Very highly recommended!
