Have you heard of the Grill Daddy? Sounds like something big, manly, and makes your mouth water? LOL Well it's not anything like that. It's actually a cleaning tool for your grill. So technically I guess it could still evoke good thoughts of grilling out yummy food. ;)
The Grill Daddy (www.grilldaddy.net) is a steam powered grill-cleaning tool that sanitizes grills and eliminates the burnt on food, grease and dirt. Cleaning grills can be a difficult and time-consuming task but the alternative is far worse. Unwashed racks can house bacteria that could contaminate food and leave an unsanitary and bad taste.
Utilizing specially designed stainless-steel brushes, the Grill Daddy releases water as users brush, hitting the grill and turning to steam while rinsing away unsanitary debris.
Other features:
· Steam-powered
· No rancid greasy residue builds up on the brush (liquefies and melts it away)
· Safe for porcelain, steel and iron grills (hot or cold)
· Ergonomic handle keeps hands away from heat and provides maximum leverage ~ a Blurb from Grill Daddy
How to use the Grill Daddy:
Turn on grill and get it hot. Turn it off and allow any flames to be banked. Remove cap of water resevoir and fill with plain water. No cleaning formula is needed. Replace cap. Start scrubbing.
What I think:
I think this is a really great way to clean your grill without all those nasty chemicals. You are using the heat from your grill mixed with plain tap water to create a steam cleaner for your grill. It's easy to handle and cleans great. My husband was very excited to get this cleaning tool. He loves to grill out for us during the sumer months and this will make it so much easier for him when it's time to clean up. :)
I would caution one thing. If you have small children please do not leave this laying where they can reach it. The brushes are extremely sharp and could hurt their little skin. You know how kids love to grab up anything they aren't suppose to.
Other than that this thing rocks! Bring on the food!
