Rainbow Brite has an updated look (which I'm still struggling with ~ I don't handle change very well). I think she's cute....she's just not my Rainbow Brite. This new one will be my daughter's. Which is ok. :)
The History of Rainbow Brite
Rainbow Brite has delighted generations of children with her exciting and imaginative adventures. Among adults who grew up with the original cartoons and dolls, Rainbow Brite has a significant following as a nostalgic property…but her unique brand of sweetly futuristic fantasy – and her sincere message of courage, kindness and hope – make her a true 21st century hero.
When Hallmark first introduced the Rainbow Brite brand about 25 years ago, girls all over the world fell in love with this colorful character. Rainbow Brite was launched with a consumer products program that included toys, books, comic books, cereal, party goods and even a traveling stage show. Girls enjoyed Rainbow Brite as a TV series, in addition to three TV specials and a feature film.

Watch out for Rainbow Brite, her two loyal friends Moonglow and Tickled Pink, and their companion horse friends: Starlite, Shimmer and Sunriser to hit Target & Toys R' Us this month.

What a great giveaway Lesley! My sister and I got those huge Rainbow Brite dolls for Christmas one year and I remember it being the most amazing doll ever! Then for my birthday I got the one with green hair, can't remember the name, but they were so cool! I tell Emira about them all the time. We seen the new dolls at Target this weekend and they changed her face a lot huh.
