Itty Bitty Bookworm: Bible Story Unit "Creation"
Itty Bitty Bookworm is a literature based curriculum for preschoolers ages 18 months to 5 years. I found this about 2 years ago when I was looking for curriculum to use for Gracie. I have Bo's Curriculum which is for the older kids, 3-5 years and Bailey's Curriculum is for the younger kids ages 18 to 36 months. Recently, Itty Bitty Bookworm added a new line of products. They have designed Bible Story Units to help children learn the stories of the Bible. This is a great supplement if you are already using their other curriculum. BUT that doesn't mean you have to use it with it. It can be used alone. It's not overwhelming either, it's just a 3-day lesson that is planned out for you.
I was able to review the first in the series, "Creation". This was such a fun story to share with Gracie. Watching her eyes and explaining it all was amazing. I loved how this unit study had everything I needed. It gives you a list of materials needed for activities. It has a letter for parents (if you are using this in a church or daycare). A memory verse, coloring sheets, a memory game. Basically, it's just awesome.
If you have been looking for a way to teach your little one about the Bible in a way they will understand then this is definitely the way to go. Check it out here.
