Child Passenger Safety Week

Did you know that 3 out of 4 carseats are not installed as they should be, keeping the children who use them from being as safe and secure as possible?

This Saturday is "Seat Check Saturday," and NHTSA is asking all parents using a child safety seat to have their installation checked at one of the centers available across the country. You can find one near you here: http://www.nhtsa.gov/cps/cpsfitting/index.cfm

More information can be found at the pages below:

Also, there will be a Q&A on Thursday, Sept. 17th from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. ET. on Twitter #ChildSeatSafety. Officials from NHTSA will be on hand to answer any child passenger safety questions. We also want to see how much people have learned this week! We will be asking questions of the party-goers and ten correct answers will receive a prize.

Amy Lupold Bair, founder of Momfluence, is acting on behalf of NHTSA's child passenger safety efforts.
