Brittany Jo James was born and raised in the small town of Idabel, Oklahoma. She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Conlee, who is currently serving as an airman in the United States Air Force. They share two rowdy sons, Jagger and Jett. Her life revolves around living for God, caring for her family and writing, writing, writing. The James family is currently residing near Anchorage, Alaska until the USAF decides otherwise.

Whew Boy! Brittany Jo James has blew me away AGAIN! I swear this girl keeps getting better with each book. I just want to hug her up and squeeze her cuteness.
This book is so different from what she has written before. This really hits close to home because it could really happen. I mean this is what our country could come to. Scary huh? It has it's historical aspect which James has become famous for as well as the romance but with this book she has thwn in an enormous of suspense and mystery.
This book left me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. Which for a girl trying to stop biting her nails was very hard.
I loved this book. So far I have to say this was my favorite of hers by far. I can't wait to see what comes from her next!
