RAFE
Lucy Cooper has known the Phoenix family all her life. But one particular Phoenix has always caught her eye, Rafe Phoenix. Rafe is a triplet with his brother Ryder and Reeve and the three of them form a band called Inside Noise.

Lucy and Rafe's timing was always odd, with boyfriends and girlfriends getting in the way but after a traumatic night at their high school bonfire with a cheating boyfriend and a life changing event Lucy and Rafe connect on a deeper level.

But things happen in life that makes you realise that you need to escape and have time away to heal. Lucy needs to find herself again which she does on her travels. After traveling the world and arriving back in LA, Lucy reconnects with Rafe but will their friendship blossom into something more or will Lucy still hold him at arms length?

MY REVIEW:
Triplets.

Let me repeat that. Triplets.

Holy heck. Yes.

And musicians to top it off. *sigh*

I pretty much harassed Amy into letting me review this book. I wanted it immediately. 1. The cover. Hello hottie. 2. Musicians. 3. Unrequited high school love. 4. Triplets. Ha! I think I mentioned that above already.

It was amazing! I loved Rafe. He was adorable! He and Lucy together are perfect! This book had me from the first paragraph. It had my emotions everywhere. And the other boys - Ryder and Reeves? Ohhhemmmgeee. They are just wow. I can't wait for their books. These guys are book boyfriends personified. Perfection. The supporting characters like Monty & Gunner? Eeeek! I want BFFs like that. They had me giggling (and blushing ... you'll see why)

It was an awesome book and I am telling y'all to go out and get it NOW!!!

Dangerous series by Suzannah Daniels {review}

DANGEROUS
Stone Hamilton had never known fear...until the accident. Since then, his life has spiraled out of control. He's been kicked out of private school, deemed a disappointment by his father, and forced to endure his own guilt, anger, and grief. The last thing he wants is a relationship with someone who will have expectations of him. But once he's enticed by the shimmering-pink lips of the oh-so-popular, academically-excelling, straitlaced hottie from his new school, he knows he's in trouble.

Seventeen-year-old Dara Golding has one goal for the summer: make enough money to buy a car, so that she can drive to school her senior year. After starting a new job, she realizes that she'll be working with the brooding, motorcycle-riding, bad boy who started attending Quail Mountain High last year. With his less than stellar reputation, he's everything she's afraid of...and that makes him dangerous.

Their undeniable attraction has Stone struggling with his inner demons. As Dara slowly allows Stone to claim her heart, a little white lie to cover an ugly truth could determine whether she's his savior or the final straw that will break his sanity.

MY REVIEW:
This series was wonderful! I fell in love with Stone. Even though he was kind of a jerk for a bit. He had a kind side but boy he knew how to keep it hidden. Watching Stone and Dara fall in love was sweet and extremely emotional. I would catch myself holding my breath and then when a pivotal moment would occur I'd let it out and giggle. I felt like a teenager. The couple goes through a lot to be together and they encounter a lot of obstacles. Wonderful 5 star read!

The Beck Brothers by Andria Large {box set review}

$9.99 for all 4 books in one box set! &heart;

BOOK 1 HENRY:
Henry Beck, the gorgeous CEO of an advertising company, was in need of a new personal assistant. He expected HR to hire someone older, more experienced, maybe even with gray hair. Who he got instead was the beautiful, young, single mother - Claire Russell. A woman who he is having a hard time keeping his eyes off of...

Claire never expected her new boss to be the most gorgeous man she's ever laid eyes on. She also never expected him to be sweet to her two year old son, Ethan. But Henry is her boss and there is no future with him. Or so Claire thinks...

Will Henry and Claire be able to fight the obvious attraction between them? Will Henry's overbearing mother come between them? Or will a freak accident change their perspectives on life and what's most important...

BOOK 2 SEBASTIAN:
After his wife cheated on him and then asked for a divorce, Sebastian Beck was devastated. The solution? Never let another woman get close enough to hurt him. His mind was made up. He would never fall in love again. And he most certainly would never get married again. Except, he never expected the one night that he was forced to protect his nephews with deadly force to bring him back in contact with the one woman he thought he’d never see again.

When Detective Raelynn Reynolds bent some hot guy’s finger back in a bar a little over a year ago, she never thought she’d see him again. Honestly...she never expected to see him ever again. She definitely never expected to see him at the scene of a break-in that had a dead body just inside the back door.

As Sebastian and Raelynn’s lives become more intertwined with each passing day, can Sebastian get over his fear of love to keep the one woman who makes him insanely happy? Will Sebastian be able to get over his fear before it’s too late? Before he could possibly lose Raelynn forever? Could fate really be that cruel?

BOOK 3 QUINN:
Quinn Beck is the kind of guy who keeps to himself. He’s quiet, reserved, and has this thing about being touched; he doesn’t like it. The reason? It’s the secret he’s been keeping inside for twenty years. Quinn has told no one what happened to him when he was ten. No. One. His plan is to take his secret to his grave, but his plan slowly starts to deteriorate when his boss hires a bubbly, outgoing, fidgety, drop-dead gorgeous woman from France, and sticks her in his office.

Margot Leclair moved to the U.S. in hopes to further her architectural and interior design career. Her new boss put her in the same office as his leading architect, who is a bit quirky, but extremely handsome, with his dark hair and dark eyes. Margot has a hard time keeping her eyes off of him. She also finds him intriguing and is curious about what makes him the way he is. She cannot help her growing attraction to him, even though she knows that he finds her irritating.

After almost a year of working together on a project and in the same office, their boss sends them on a trip to London for an Architectural Seminar. It turns into the trip from Hell that has Margot returning with a sprained ankle, and Quinn even more introverted than usual. Even after having the horrible trip, Margot wants to be with Quinn, yet he continues to fight their obvious connection.

When a death in Margot’s family sends them to France only days after getting home from London, an argument between Margot and Quinn sends him to a bar, where he decides to drink himself stupid. Will he reveal his secret to Margot while drunk off his ass, or will he close himself off even more? Can Quinn overcome his past to be with the one woman who wants him as is? Or will Quinn’s past come back to bite him and ruin everything he and Margot have together?

BOOK 4 CHRISTIAN:
Nothing scared Christian Beck more than his brothers finding out that he was gay. How could he ever tell his three big, buff, women-loving brothers that he was into dudes? What if they thought it was disgusting? What if they disowned him? He loved his brothers so much and couldn’t bear to lose them.

His only problem? He was in love with his best friend, who was now his boyfriend. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with this man. He hated having to hide their relationship, but what choice did he have? It was either hide his relationship or risk lose his family.

Shea Dempsey’s life has been turned upside down and inside out. First, his parents and sister were killed a couple years back, leaving him without any blood relatives. Now, the one person who he considered his only family told him that he was in love with him. The only issue? It was his best friend Christian, who’s gay. So when Christian told him that they could no longer be friends, Shea made a decision that would forever change him. He decided to become Christian’s boyfriend, because honestly, he would do anything to keep his best friend, even if that meant switching teams.

As their relationship became more involved, Shea realized that he really enjoyed being with men…okay, maybe not all men, but definitely Christian. But he didn’t want to hide what they had together. The only problem was that Christian would not budge on the subject and refused to tell his family about them. Shea didn’t know how long he could live in secret. Will their years of friendship and love for each other be enough? Or will the ultimatum that Shea gives Christian end everything for good?

MY REVIEW:
I don't know where to start. If I should go book by book. Or just review in general. I think I'm going to go in general since I have so many thoughts running through my head. When approached to do a review by the author I had honestly never heard of her or her books. So I was interested. I love reading new books and meeting new people. Reading Henry at first...I was like ehhh, I didn't like Henry and Claire much but as their story progressed I grew to not only like them but really love them together and root for their relationship.

What I loved was in each book you are introduced to the next brother and given a peek at his story. It flows effortlessly. In Henry you meet the other 3 brothers and get glimpses of them but in Henry you get a peek at Sebastian's story, in Sebastian's story you get a peek at Quinn's and in Quinn's ... Christian's. You see what I'm saying. It was wonderful to watch the entire family grow closer and each member find their own way.

There are so many emotions. I laughed. I cried. And I blushed. ;)

Each brother is totally different from the other and their stories are all very different. Christian's story was the most out of my norm. I had never read a book like his. A strictly male/male romance. But that didn't stop me. I needed to know what happened with him. And I was so pleased with the outcome. It was amazing. I loved it.

I would highly recommend that if you want to read a series that revolves around a group of amazingly hot brothers then you need to grab The Beck Brother box set. You will not be disappointed!

EXCERPT
Ten bucks says the only person not packing is Mils grandma by marriage.” Mo said once we’d all finished eating our dinner, which has basically been a painful process of chewing, swallowing, drinking unhealthy amounts of wine and trying to stare at my plate to keep from looking at Trace, while my wife sat next to me. Hell had officially risen to earth and I was smack dab in the middle of it trying my damndest to remember how to swallow without choking — without dying a little bit inside each time I saw him touch her face. And trying not to feel like an ass when Mil caught me staring — again. I’d resolved about an hour ago to actually be the man she needed me to be and I was already failing. Horribly. The second time I looked,Mo kicked me under the table but accidentally hit Tex instead causing everyone to look up, which was probably why Mo said what she did.
We all turned heads to look at the hundred year old woman. She was currently on her fourth glass of wine and looked to be about two seconds away from falling into her chicken cacciatore.
Nope.” Nixon shook his head. “It’s always the ones you don’t expect. My money’s on Grandma.”
I’ll take that bet.” Tex rose. “Seems like someone needs to fall on their own knife and all that. This has to be the most depressing wedding I’ve ever gone to and that includes the fake one Mo made for her kittens when she was four.”
They lived happily ever after.” Mo tilted her head into the air and narrowed her eyes.
Tex leaned down and tapped Mo on the nose. “Yes if happily means they lived for five damn minutes before marching directly into oncoming traffic.”
I think the wedding just hit its low point.” Mil muttered. “Save us, Tex. I beg you. Find the gun and I’ll give you a prize.”
Prize?” Tex’s eyes lit up. “As in—”
As in her new husband won’t punch you in the face. You’re welcome. Yay, prizes.” I did a fake punch into the air. “Now go create some excitement before Nixon starts picking people off with his semi-automatic.”
Nixon rolled his eyes. “Right, like I’d even bring—”
It’s in the SUV.” Trace answered sounding bored. “Saw it when I took out my dress.”
Damn.” He looked away.
Just then a very drunk looking cousin Vinnie got up and took the microphone from the band. “Look here! I have a toast to the bride and groom!” The feedback from the microphone mixed with his inability to stand up straight caused him to drop the stand and then fall flat on his ass.
For the love of God save us all.” I pushed Tex towards Grandma.
We all sat at the table, the very depressing bridal party table, and watched as Tex slowly made his way towards the elderly woman.
This won’t end well.” Trace said under her breath. “The man has the subtleness of a bomb.”
Exactly.” Mo grinned from ear to ear.“I did say we needed entertainment, didn’t I?”
Mo… ” Nixon warned.
He cheated on me Nixon. Let me have my fun.” She said smoothly.
He what?” Nixon roared jumping to his feet, curious stares pinned in our direction as Mo grabbed his hand and pulled him back to his seat.
I’ve got this. You aren’t the only one who knows how to use their powers for evil, brother. Revenge is a bitch, isn’t that what they say, Trace?”
She looked guiltily down at her hands.Yeah, double meanings I could really get without. Hopefully Mo wasn’t going to get Tex shot at our wedding, not that I’d be against it. This was the first I heard of him cheating, granted, Mo hadn’t really been all that for sharing recently. She was as secretive as ever. Something told me it was for a reason, but I’d been too wrapped up in my own drama to even ask. How bad did I suck as a half brother? Bad, real bad. On a scale of one to ten in the suckiness department I’d be around an eleven.
Tex finally reached her chair and sat down next to her, his smile was wide, I couldn’t tell what he was saying but his hands were all over the place, and then he set one hand on Grandma.
Oh this isn’t going to end well.” Mo chuckled. “She hates being touched.”
It is Tex.” I pointed out. “She could do a lot worse.”
Doubtful.” Mo snorted crossing her arms.
Holy shit what the hell? Had I been living under a rock for the past few months? What went down? And how didn’t I know about it.
I winced when Tex moved his other hand next to Grandma’s leg. Probably wouldn’t be a good time to tell him that she’d seen her fair share of murder. I almost closed my eyes when she looked down at his hand.
Aw shit.” Nixon shook his head. “You had to challenge him, Mo.”
Mo’s face twisted into a murderous smile as she pointed and exclaimed. “Game. Set. Match.”
Grandma had Tex by the balls.
Ouch!” This from Mil.

MY REVIEW:
If y'all have ever read a review by me of a Rachel Van Dyken book you know I love her. Like seriously I would kiss her. Full on kiss her. She is awesome. And her Eagle Elite series makes me a happy, happy girl. From book one I have been #TeamChase. Nixon who? LOL Seriously Nixon is cool and all but Chase has held my heart. When I finished Elect and I knew he wasn't going to end up with Trace it broke me a little. But oh boy did Rachel make it all okay with Entice. She handed me Chase on a silver platter. And then to add to it she added in the hotness that we are going to come to love that we know as Tex. Oh yes. Tex. He is gonna be our next love. I'm telling ya now. Watch out. That boy, though trouble....is gonna be trouble we wanna get into!

But back to Chase and Mil for a minute. Reading their story was ahhhhh-mazing! Honestly, I was scared. Because I loved the idea of Chase & Trace together. But it wasn't meant to be. Rachel knew that and she was able to give us a wonderful alternative. It was emotional and HOT!! So hot.

Get this book now! Seriously. Run. NOW! I may not have ties to the mafia but I'll come at ya, bro. It's on sale for 99 cents. So get it while it's cheap. :)
