We had all of her school supplies bought about 3 weeks ago. And then her church was so wonderful to give ALL the kids who attend a new backpack with supplies. So she will be taken care of for quite some time. :) Clothes shopping with her was an adventure. She is my little fashionista. Which comes down to if it's pink, glittery, and LOUD she likes it. Ha!

Wasn't she cute? Yeah, I thought so too. But I am partial... ;)
Every year since she started Kindergarten on the first day I send a note in her lunch box telling her how much I miss her, how much I love her and can't wait to see her when she gets home. She asked me a few days before school started if I was going to do it again this year. I just smiled and said you'll have to wait and see. Of course I did!
And throughout the year I'll place little notes of encouragement or just a note to tell her I love her. I like her to know to know that I'm thinking of her through the day. She deserves to know how much she means to me.
I saw these really cute lunch box notes over at Tiny Prints that I would love to get. You can customize them by adding pictures, names, anything!She would LOVE something like that. There were a few designs I was looking at - a ladybug one and one with a little girl holding balloons. I can't decide! Maybe I'll get both. :)
