Simple Woman's Daybook - 7/11

FOR TODAY July 11, 2011...

Outside My Window...hazy, sunny....looking toward the 90s today

I am thinking...I'm so glad I started blogging. It's kinda like a journal....that I need to update more.

I am thankful for...the telephone. Living an hour away from my mama if I didn't have it I'd go crazy.

From the learning rooms...It's a relaxing time. Gracie still wants to learn cursive, so we're working on that on and off. Matthew won't sit still for anything much but he does love having stories read to him.

From the kitchen...needing to do dishes (as always) and thinking I want some veggies for dinner tonight. Maybe some squash with my steak.

I am wearing...my nightgown. I know, I know. I need to get dressed and get this day started.

I am creating...friendships.

I am going...to make today a good day.

I am reading...ummm, nothing at the moment. I just got finished reading Restless in Carolina by Tamara Leigh. I'll have something by tonight I'm sure.

Around the house...still looking pretty good.

One of my favorite things...my Coby Kyros tablet...that was manually upgraded to have Android Market on it. :) 

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Rob's got the next 2 days off. I want to get a little sewing done....maybe a dress for Gracie and a pair of shorts for Matthew.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...the dress I made for Kenzie yesterday. I think it turned out pretty good for not having a pattern and guessing at her size.
