One wonderful piece of news from my life is that for the first time in 5 years my husband has a job! Hallelujah!!!
It's been the longest five years of both of our lives. For those of you who don't know the story, here's a condensed version...Hubby goes to work. Falls off roof. Messed up BAD. Can't do construction again. Rehab. Schooling. Economy sucked. Home...A LOT. But now he's a proud (if not a little worn out) employee of Lowe's Home Improvement. I'm excited about the 10% employee discount. :) Oh yea and him working again too. That's a no-brainer. ;)
Life is just kind of in a weird period right now. Gracie was only 2 years old when Robby got hurt. So she doesn't remember any type of normal lifestyle. And then of course we didn't have Matthew. So I'm dealing with doing most of it on my own now. I almost hate to admit how much he entertained the kids. Shame on me.
See what I mean...it feels like forever ago.

Also since I've gotten behind on my blogging I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I don't know where to start or how to get organized again. So please keep bearing with me as I get myself sorted out. It's quite hard ya know? So if you have any tips or advice for me....please let me know!

Wow, congratulations on the hubby's job! What a blessing! You'll get the hang of going it alone in time, you just need time to get used to it. Tell your hubby that I said his new employer sponsors the VERY BEST NASCAR driver too! :P
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words. :) LOL Vicki He told them when he started he'd wear the Lowe's logo but wouldn't put the number 48 on his body. He felt it would be betraying Martin!
ReplyDeleteI was at Lowe's a while ago and looked for Robbie hehe, I was gonna say hi! I'm sure this is a big adjustment for all of you but you will get your groove back soon ;) We'll have to come get you and the kids when school is out and go to the park and stuff.
ReplyDeleteHe's been working in the Garden Center, but has been wishing for some rain to take him inside for awhile. ;) He's getting quite the tan. You might not have recognized him without his pasty white skin! hehe
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the job! Yay. :-)
